シュープリームスが1965年にリリースしたクリスマスアルバムを大幅にボリュームアップし、CD2枚組みに収録。再生時間は2枚とも70分越えという、超豪華版です！
　CD1にはオリジナルアルバムの全12曲をモノとステレオでそれぞれ24トラック収録し、しめくくりにグループからのクリスマスのあいさつ。そしてCD2には2017年ミックスとして、全12曲の別ボーカルかミックス違いを集めたうえに、14曲ものボーナストラック。つまり、オリジナルアルバムの12曲については、それぞれ3通りのバージョンが楽しめるのが特徴です。

収録曲は「White Christmas」、「My Favorite Things」といったスタンダードナンバー中心ですが、ハイライトは「Childrens Christmas Song」と「Twinkle Twinkle Little Me」という2曲のモータウンオリジナル曲。
　前者はこどもたちのコーラスがかわいい、とてもピースフルな曲。ダイアナ・ロスのこどもたちへの掛け声も各バージョン、三者三様でそれぞれ楽しい仕上がりです。和気あいあいとしたレコーディング風景が浮かびます。一方、後者はセンチメンタルなクリスマス曲。
　通して聴くと、「Silver Bells」などムーディーなスローナンバーが印象に残り、おそらくはにぎやかなクリスマスパーティーの雰囲気にはそぐわないと思いますが、ひとりでしっとりとクリスマス気分に浸りたいときにはおすすめの1（2）枚です。
